Regional Sales Manager, Washington DC /Mid-Atlantic territory

We’re looking for a dynamic sales representative who can grow both direct and channel sales for 
Ai Squared, the leading developer of innovative products for the low vision community.  As our RSM, you will manage a territory to grow revenues by finding and reaching new markets and customers as well as manage an existing dealer network. 

Responsibilities will include: finding and developing direct sales to key enterprise and government accounts.  Additionally, s/he will be responsible for direction and oversight of our channel sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. You will set short and long term direct and channel sales strategies while communicating with customer and dealers and evaluate the effectiveness of current programs. The RSM will need to build relationships and rapport with customer and dealers; understand local market and product dynamics; establish and enforce sales goals and quotas and experiment with new ways to sell our established line of products. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of cultivating relationships and growing sales.  S/he must be outgoing with a “hunter attitude” and capable of bidirectional communications with clients and dealers ranging from IT executives at Fortune 500 companies to sole proprietorships.  S/he should be highly motivated, customer focused, responsive, self-managed and capable of managing and closing a pipeline of prospects.

Interested candidates should have prior technology sales background; college degree and unquestionable integrity.  Experience with enterprise sales and dealer networks is preferred; government or public service agencies would be a plus. Experience with assistive technologies would also be a plus.
