ZoomText 10.0.3 Has Landed!

Picture of an astronaut landing on the moonIt’s not as momentous as landing on the moon per se, but it’s still pretty exciting to announce that the next free update in the ZoomText 10 cycle is here and we now fully support Internet Explorer 9!  Along with that, we also added reading support in the Thunderbird email client, improved performance when running ZoomText with JAWS, added Portuguese language support, fixed a bunch of bugs, and more.

If you’ve already got version 10 and have the automatic updates turned on, you will see a notice the next time you have ZoomText running.  Turned off auto updates?  No problem – just go to the Help menu and choose “Check for Program Updates”.

    Since updating to ZT10.0.3 my computer freezes frequently and has to be restarted from a hard boot. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I am running Windows 7 64 bit on a machine with an i3 processor, 6 gig of RAM, and 1TB hard drive. Before the update I had no problems.

    Thank you, I will contact them. I have been reading some of the forums from earlier releases of ZT and got some helpful hints as to how to overcome the problem, but I will still contact support to make them aware. I also run the update on an old laptop running XP with no problems at all.
