Wrap Up Your Summer with “High Contrast”

Among my many travels: Becca and I after the Visions conference in Minneapolis

In our latest “High Contrast” podcast deliberately tailored for the sight impaired, Rodney, Jeremy, Joe, and I talk about some upcoming technology as well as what we learned at the big summer conferences that we attended.   For example, we discussed what each of us may or may not look forward to in iOS 6 coming this fall.

Sometimes it’s nice to abandon that drab cubicle and mingle with some friends old and new, all the while exchanging both technical tips and coping skills.  But if you’re stuck in your cubicle or tied to your home computer, never fear… we bring it to you.

Between us all, we attended NFB, ACB, and several other conferences and lived to tell the tale.  One of these days, the four of us may actually attend the same conference and meet face to face.   But breaking away from accessibility technology, I speak at length about my experience at my favorite conference, Foundation Fighting Blindness’ Visions 2012.

Take a listen and let us know what topics you’d like to hear in the future.  The next podcast has already been recorded and shares tips on staying organized while doing all those everyday tasks – you know how difficult that can be for the sight impaired!  I think the sighted spouse won as the most used, yet most under-appreciated tool :)   I’ll let you know when that’s been posted, but for now, you’ve got Episode Three to listen to.
