ZoomText 10 Tips and Tricks – Improved Reading and Chat Support in Gmail

by Derek Bove on September 21, 2012

We’ve made some major improvements in our latest ZoomText update, 10.0.5, a free update for all ZoomText 10 users.  Reading tools, such as AppReader, will now launch more reliably and quickly in Gmail.  Along with that, we’ve added Gchat support, so ZoomText will now read both your incoming and outgoing chat messages!

If you’ve got ZoomText 10 and have turned on automatic updates, you’re all set.  If you turned that off, head on over to our updates page or go to the Help menu in ZoomText and choose “Check for Program Updates…”.  Don’t have version 10 yet?  Just give our sales team a call at 800-859-0270 and they’ll be happy to give you a quote.

Today’s tips and tricks video shows this new Gmail support in action.  Watch the video right here by clicking on the play button below or go onto YouTube and watch it there.

Thanks for this video, I found it very helpful. I’m wondering if you can tell me why ZoomText 10 skips the first word of each line when reading a bulleted list?

Glad you enjoyed the video Melanie. Sorry to hear that you’re having some trouble getting ZoomText to read bulleted lists properly – definitely contact our support department and they can get to the bottom of that for you. Their email is support@aisquared.com or you can call them at 802-362-3612 and choose option #3 for support.
