Hi,
I'm new here so first of all just wanted to say hi to everyone. I've got very little useable eyesight and I'm using the latest version of ZoomText.

My main question / concern has to do with compatibility with music software and DAWs.

I mainly use OS X (have a couple of Macs here) but since not all programs and plug-ins are OS X compatible I M sort of looking for the way to start using music software on my PCs as well.

I just installed FL Studio 7 on my new PC (AMD 6000, 2GB RAM, XP Pro SP II). ALl of my programs are up to date. Including ZoomText.

Long story short I can't use ZoomText when using FL at all. I start FL and as I attempt to navigate to it's menus and functions ZoomText lags big time. To the point where I can't even move thee mouse cursor. Tried just about everything. No luck.

has anyone here been able to use ZoomText with any type of professional music applications like Cubasse SX, Ableton Live, Sonar etc?

A quick update. Installed iZoom Standard (the trial version) and that worked with FL without problem.

Here's the weird part. Launched ZT and FL after that and it worked too. NO more ZT freezing up or anything. Occasional audio clicks and pops on playback but only when ZT is active. A simple workaround is to disable ZT with the hot key before playback or rendering.

Still not anywhere near as good as doing the same on my macs but at least it finally works.
