Question: I am having problems with zoomtext when using the application web pages are freezing and jerky when scrolling, the PC is new HP DC7800 2gig ram, XP sp2, Internet Explorer 6.0.2900.xpsp_sp2_gdr.080814-1233, I adjusted for best performance in visual effects, upgraded to 9.14 and the latest Intel drivers, i cant change the version of Internet Explorer but would a better graphics card help?

Hello,

Please see if the following might help resolve the issue. Thanks.

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click on Tools, then Internet Options
3. Click on the Advanced tab
4. Make sure the following checkbox is NOT checked “Use smooth scrolling”
5. Click OK

Try installing the Java Access Bridge (http://www.aisquared.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1071).

In XP
1. Click on the Start button
2. Select Run...
3. Type the command below in the blank area next to Open:
msconfig
4. Click the OK button
5. This will bring you to the System Configuration Utility in the General tab
6. Click the radial next to Selective Startup
7. Uncheck Load Startup Items
8. Click the OK button
9. Click the Restart button
10. When the computer restarts a message box will appear stating that you have used the System Configuration Utility
11. Check the box labeled \"Don't show this message or launch the System Configuration utility when Windows start\"
12. Click the OK button.

In Vista
1. Click on the Start button
2. Start typing in the search field \"msconfig\" and press Enter, if you get the UAC message click Continue
3. This will bring you to the System Configuration Utility in the General tab
4. Click the radial next to Selective Startup
7. Uncheck Load Startup Items
8. Click the OK or Close button
9. Click the Restart button
10. When the computer restarts a message box will appear stating that you have used the System Configuration Utility
11. Check the box labeled \"Don't show this message or launch the System Configuration utility when Windows start\"
12. Click the OK button.

Take care,

James
