Hi all;
The various Color Enhansements in ZT 8 & 9 are great! :D I can remove or replace a color, like white, which annoys my eyes. :roll: I can tint the screen or make everything one of two colors whatever I choose. :mrgreen:
If you use the mouse, there is little problem, but it took me quite a while to figure out how to do it all strickly with the keyboard. :oops: Here are some tricks and hints.
HINTS;
To open any dropDown menu, press ALT-SHIFT-DownArrow.
In some programs just using the arrow key works.
To choose from MORE COLORs, press the ENDofLINE key
when the menu is open. :x This is necessary in situations where the CUSTOM Choice gives a Color Conflict Error. If you can not get past the CUSTOM Choice to get to the MORE Colors item using the keyboard; use the END key or the mouse. :arrow:
When in the MORE COLOR Pallette, just
arrow to the desired color,
Press the SPACE Bar,
Press the TAB key 3 times,
Press ENTER or SPACE Bar.
At this point the color changes will be made, but you may be put back in the More Color Pallette. :o If so, don't CANCEL or press ENTER. Go thru and pick your color again, and ZT will get it done. PLEASE NOTE: The color you want REPLACED, will look the same as the color you want to replace it with; So you have to remember about where you clicked in the previous window. It is not hard! Just don't panic! :shock: Go ahead and play with it. Experimenting with different color combinations is great fun.

Try making your own CUSTOM COLORS and SAVEing them. This is a standard Window Dialog Box, so you should be able to use either the mouse or the keyboard.

If you make a bad mess just press the escape key (ESC, in the upper left corner of the PC's keyBoard.) This will put you back to your last SAVEd settings for this dialog box.

. Happy Holidays !!!

I did exactly the same for my internet browser
i really can't stand the white colour

now since there is zt 9 i can use inverted colours (white on black) for my outlook
but i don't like to use that colour scheme for the internet because some sites will just get worse, so for the internet i decide to replace white by a selfdefined colour (something like beige so that the website can still easily be seen as it should be

Than i also changed the magnification window (lens instead of full) for the internet explorer so that i can also have an overview of a website

conclusion appsettings are great
