One of my users has been using ZoomText v9 on a Windows XP desktop for a few years, we have recently undertaken a CITRIX project that means that all users (including the user in question) are connecting to a CITRIX desktop session.

We tested ZoomText before we roled it out for him (ZoomText installed on his WinXP PC not on one of our Win2003 servers) and it worked fine, he logged onto WinXP ZoomText did its job and then when he went through to the desktop ZoomText continued to work apart from the 'Tracking' (i have seen previous posts relating to this stating you dont support it on CITRIX but the post i saw was replied to in 2004)

I have found another product that does do this but the user is happy with ZoomText and i would much rather him to continue using it rather than training him to use another product.

Hello:

Currently we do not support running ZoomText in a Citirix environment. In order for ZoomText to work properly with a target application, it will need to be installed and running locally on the PC. The main issue with running an app via the Citrix network is that you will not have reading support. I found out today that we are currently looking into supporting ZoomText in a Citirix enviroment. I don't know when this will take affect. Thanks.
