I currently have zoomtext 9.2 and the screen seems to hang. The mouse and keyboard also doesn't seem to respond. It's not a system hang up because my tech can remotely control my machine fine but I don't see the monitor change at all. If my tech remotely reboots the machine, everything seems to work fine again.

My system specs are the following:
Core 2 duo 2.66
intel DP35DP motherboard
2 GB RAM (2 x 1 )
2 320GB Hard drives in mirrored raid configuration
ATi 2600 video card
XP Professional with all updates

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello,

Is it ZoomText 9.12 or 9.02? We currently don’t have a ZoomText 9.2. When the screen and everything hangs up when does this happen? Is it when ZoomText first starts up or does it happen when you are in a specific program? Thanks.

Take care,

James

sorry, it's Zoomtext 9.12. The screen freezes up about once a day. The client can be in word, AOL 9.0 or sending a fax. The screen, keyboard and mouse seem to lock up but when I go in through PC Anywhere, everything is fine except the client cannot see any change ( i.e. the screen, keyboard and mouse are still frozen for him ).

Hello,

You can try installing the trial version of ZoomText 9.14 from the following site: http://www.zoomtext.com/software/v91/ZT914_T.exe

This should hopefully install some files that should hopefully take care of this problem. I believe you would install the trial but you would use the ZoomText 9.12 version you are currently running. Let us know if it does not work. Another suggestion would be to try and take note of what you are doing that maybe causing this problem. Hopefully we could narrow down what action or program that might be causing this. Also if you get the option to send the ZoomText error log file please do.

I hope the install of the trial helps. Thanks.

Take care,

James
