When running ZoomText with Microsoft Office XP applications - including Word 2002, Excel 2002 and PowerPoint 2002 - ZoomText's magnified view may become corrupted. For example, unmagnified objects (pictures and graphics) may appear in front of ZoomText magnified view. As you move the mouse over these objects, they are erased.

Screen corruption when Windows XP’s ClearType effect is enabled

In Windows XP, when the ClearType display effect is enabled, screen corruption occurs when using ZoomText's fractional magnification levels (1.25x, 1.5x or 1.75x).

Does ZoomText 8 support Windows XP Service Pack 2?

The short answer is "Yes". ZoomText 8.0 and 8.1 are compatible with Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2). However, some users may encounter the following problems after updating to Service Pack 2:

Resolving BigShot Video Card Conflicts

BigShot is designed and tested to insure the highest level of video compatibility. However, with the rapid deployment of new video cards and display drivers, new problems may occasionally occur. When running ZoomText with QuickTime Player versions 6.0 through 6.3, ZoomText's magnified view may become corrupted. For example, unmagnified objects (video, pictures and graphics) may appear in front of ZoomText magnified view. As you move the mouse over these objects, they are erased.
