"You have entered a domestic ZoomText serial number. An International serial number is required to activate ZoomText on this system. Please enter an International serial number and try again."

When installing ZoomText on an international version of Windows:
If you own a domestic version of ZoomText, but need to install it on an international version of Microsoft Windows, you will need to upgrade your copy of ZoomText to an international version. Contact your local ZoomText dealer or Ai Squared to purchase your upgrade.
When installing ZoomText on a domestic version of Windows:
If you are installing a domestic version of ZoomText on a domestic version of Microsoft Windows (U.S. or Canadian version), make sure your regional settings are set to "English (United States)" or "English (Canada)", as follows:
Windows will restart your system.

When running versions of ZoomText before 9.04, If you change the regional settings after ZoomText has been activated, ZoomText will deactivate itself and start up as a trial (or expired trial). Then, if you attempt to activate you will encounter the error message described in this article. Changing the regional settings back to English (United States) or English (Canada) will allow you to re-activate ZoomText.
