When running ZoomText Xtra (version 7) with Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Visio 2002, ZoomText's magnified view may become corrupted. For example, unmagnified objects (pictures and graphics) may appear in front of ZoomText's magnified view. As you move the mouse over these objects, they are erased.
Windows XP and Visio 2002 use a new Microsoft technology, called GDI+. GDI+ gives application programs the ability to perform graphical output directly to the screen, bypassing the normal video processing used by screen magnifiers.
This problem is resolved by updating to ZoomText 7.11 and installing the GDI+ patch for Windows XP and Visio 2002.
To obtain ZoomText 7.11:
Users of ZoomText 7.10 can download a free 7.11 update from www.aisquared.com. Users of ZoomText 7.0x must purchase the 7.11 upgrade. For more information, call Ai Squared at (800) 859-0270 or email sales@aisquared.com.To obtain the GDI+ patch for Windows XP and Visio 2002:
