Infovox 330 version 2.1.4 is not selectable from the ZoomText Xtra 7.10 synthesizer list box. This is true even though the ZoomText Xtra Setup program shows the Infovox synthesizer as a "default synthesizer" option.
Infovox is failing to authorize its software license and therefore is not available to ZoomText. The problem is due to the way Infovox implements a third party product named CrypKey, which ZoomText also uses. ZoomText is using a newer version of CrypKey (version 5.7, which is required to support Windows XP). Infovox is using CrypKey version 5.5. Ai Squared, the makers of Infovox and the makers of CrypKey have been working together on this problem.
Use Infovox 330 version 2.1. At the time of this writing version 2.1 is what is available as a trial download (http://www.infovox.se/). Even though Infovox 330 version 2.1 uses an even older version of CrypKey, version 4.7, the implementation of CrypKey allows the two programs to coexist.

Wait for the new version of Infovox which will include the latest version of CrypKey. Contact the makers of Infovox for a release date (http://www.infovox.se/).
or
Copy three CrypKey files (Crp32dll.dll, Crp9516e.dll, and Cryp95e.dll) from the Infovox 2.1.4 installation over the ones in the ZoomText program directory. Infovox installs these files to the hidden directory c:\Infovox.lic. The ZoomText program directory is chosen at installation. The default directory is <drive:>\Program Files\ZoomText Xtra\<zx type>\ where <drive:> is the operating system drive and <zx type> is either Level 2 or Trial.
