KB: Errors when accessing Microsoft Excel 97 dialogs

KB#: 051
Last updated: March 01 2006

The information in this article applies to:

  • BigShot 2.xx

When BigShot is running, errors may occur when accessing certain Microsoft Excel 97 dialogs. These errors are caused by known problems in Microsoft Active Accessibility (MSAA), which is utilized by BigShot to monitor and track on-screen events.

These problems can be resolved by upgrading to Microsoft Excel 2000, or by disabling BigShot's support for MSAA. Note: BigShot will not track on-screen events if support for MSAA is disabled.
