KB: Installing ZoomText 8.0 and 8.1 on the same system

The information in this article applies to:
- ZoomText v8.0x through 8.1x
ZoomText 8.0x and 8.1x can both be installed on the same system - although you can only run one at a time. However, if ZoomText 8.0 is subsequently removed from the system, you may encounter the following behavior:
If ZoomText 8.0 is uninstalled after installing ZoomText 8.11, you may be prompted to reboot the system more than once before you can run ZoomText 8.1 again.
If ZoomText 8.0 is uninstalled after installing ZoomText 8.10, you may encounter an "Unable to communicate with display driver" error, which will require that you reinstall ZoomText 8.10.
