KB: ZoomText compatibility with Adobe Acrobat Professional

The information in this article applies to:
- ZoomText 9.01 or later
- Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0
ZoomText 9.01 provides the following support for Adobe Acrobat Professional version 7.0 (without special settings).
- PDF documents can be read using both AppReader and DocReader
- Text in PDF documents can be echoed using Mouse Echo and SpeakIt Tool.
- Users can use Typing Echo and text cursor tracking in Acrobat's Note Tool.
- Cursor enhancements works when using Select Tool, and when typing inside the Note comment box (the yellow box).
KNOWN PROBLEMS
This problem can be resolved as follows:
- Xfont smoothing does not work in the pdf document. However, i t does work in the comment boxes.
- Typing echo and text cursor tracking do not work in Text Edits tool (blue comment boxes).
- Any t ext that is typed in PDF forms is not echoed. The edges of the typed text are also jagged.
- When hovering over tool buttons in Acrobat's toolbar, the tool tips are not echoed.
