The information in this article applies to:
- ZoomText 9.18.4 and later
- Windows 7 (32 or 64-bit)
PROBLEM
When launching ZoomText in Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit), you may get a "ZoomText is not responding" Error message:
CAUSE
This could be caused by Windows 7 DPI settings. DPI settings allow you to change the size of text and other items on your screen.SOLUTION
Change the DPI setting from 150% to 125% or 100%- Click on the Start button
- Click on Control Panel
- If you’re in (Category View)
- Click on Appearance and Personalization
- Click on Display
- If you’re in (All Control Panel Items)
- Click on Display
- The Following screen will appear:
- Set the DPI setting to 125% or 100%
- Restart your computer.
- Restart ZoomText
